Lauren is the leader of this kaupapa and is a proud descendant Ngāti Kahungunu and Ngāti Porou, who was raised and nourished in Hastings. She is a graphic designer, māmā of four , craft enthusiast , wife , part-time craft supply hoarder , and a lover of te reo.

Matthew is Lauren's husband of Ngāti Porou descent, raised in Ahitereiria who is now studying to be a school teacher. Emma, Margaret, Clayde, and Nancy are their adorable and haututū children. Whānau is the biggest motivator for what we do and adding their respective journeys through life and te āo māori
